Mark on base dates this piece to 1950 (S). 10cm x 7cm x 5.5cm cm high. Hand Decorated with Raised Gilding 1958 Marcel Rochas Pattern An extremely rare piece in excellent condition. A very rare pattern (according to the LeTallec studio this was an exclusive design for the Paris fashion/perfume house Marcel Rochas and only a few pieces in this pattern were produced). The design can be seen in the last image, showing the Marcel Rochas Femme perfume packaging/branding. The gold lace variation of this design was also used for the perfume named Mousseline which was launched inside the same amphora bottle as Femme, but was trimmed with printed gold lace instead of the black. (Keith & Thomas Waterbrook-Clyde, 2003). Mark on base dates this piece to 1957. 21cm wide, 6cm deep. 'Attributs de Musique' Pattern Le Tallec Paris 1950 This is a fine and rather rare piece of Limoges porcelain decorated by the renowned French attelier Le Tallec. It is a Monteith (seau crennelé), a crenellated bucket used for cooling wine glasses and was typically part of a dessert service but also stands alone as a very practical piece of tableware (perfect for weddings and similar celebrations). With an undulating rim, decorated with raised gilding in the 'Attributs de Musique' pattern with gilt ribbon banding, floral swags and flanked by scroll handles. The form being after 18th century Sevres examples. Date letter T for 1950 (but possibly the Greek 'T' or taf for 1975), decorators initials GM. For the pattern see page 170 of Atelier Le Tallec Hand Painted Limoges Porcelain: For Connoisseurs, Royalty, and Tiffany and Co. (Keith & Thomas Waterbrook-Clyde, 2003). Empire Style Twin Handled Vase 9" High, Paris, France, Date 1946 A wonderful piece of Le Tallec porcelain, this 'Vase Directoire' is in almost pristine condition - I can see no faults whatsoever with the sole exception of an extremely fine craze to the glaze inside the neck (see images) which is very hard to notice. Opera de Paris Dancer Design by Jean Loth in Collaboration with Camille Le Tallec 1956 The mark on this plate dates it to 1956. Jean Loth was a well known painter and architect in Paris famous for his watercolour paintings of ballet dancers. The Le Tallec studio had a series of designs of dancers from the Opera de Paris which were designed by Mr Toth, of which this is a splendid example. 22.2cm diameter, excellent condition. Empire Style Twin Handled Vase 12.75" High, Paris, France, Date 1979 A wonderful large piece of Le Tallec porcelain, this 'Vase Directoire' with beautiful swan handles is in pristine condition - I can see no faults whatsoever. Mark on base dates this piece to 1979. 12.75" high (32.5cm). Porcelain Dressing Table Box Trinket Jewellery Casket Hand Decorated with Raised Gilding 1979 A beautiful piece in excellent condition. Mark on base dates this piece to 1979. 13.5cm x 9.5cm x 6.5cm high. "Marin" gold relief on white lidded jar or urn. Empire Style with beautiful rsaised gilding on pure white porcelain. This piece was produced in 1965. Approx. 18.5 cm tall including lid. This is a beautiful twin-handled vase painted entirely by hand for Le Tallec of Paris. The design (Cartel de Fleurs Fond Poupre avec Rinceaux Or) has wonderful floral panels on a ruby red ground embellished with scrolls, flowers etc in gold with stunning gilt covered face handles. The vase measures 4.75 inches (12cm) high The base is fully marked for Le Tallec with the painter's initials of 'C.J.' and the date letter 'SS' for 1963. This is a rare matching pair of beautiful twin-handled vases painted entirely by hand for Le Tallec of Paris. The design (Cartel de Fleurs Fond Poupre avec Rinceaux Or) has wonderful floral panels on a ruby red ground embellished with scrolls, flowers etc in gold with stunning stylised swan handles.
